Hey guys !
Well, I'll be in California for Christmas after all ! I am so happy and thankful that I'll be able to see everyone and spend time with my family. I really can't wait !
Today was our first real snow. Not a snow like last time, that melted on contact with the ground, this one actually stayed and we were very excited.
We decided to take the dogs to the park and play, we were even entertaining thoughts of making a snowman for a while, but we're going to need a little more snow before that happens.
The walk to the dog park takes between twenty to thirty minutes depending how fast we walk and how many times the pups have to stop to sniff something. We then stayed at the dog park for a good hour, hour and a half... By the time we started walking back the snow had turned into very cold rain and both me and the roomie were half frozen.
We were very very happy to be back inside in the warmth. Lucy was very disappointed to realize that snow turns into water when we got back inside and pouted for a while before finally shrugging it off.
Here are the pics of our first snow as told by Lucy:
First impressions, with my coat on because mommy is a neurotic freak:

Yay, we get to run and set the first foot... oops, I mean... paw prints on the ground !

Rolling in the snow, I discovered, is a lot of fun. Almost as much fun as rolling in the sand:

Mom said I had to show you guys this pic of our street all snowy. I think all of you guys will agree, but I really don't see what the big deal is:

Yay mom finally took my coat off, took her long enough to realize I didn't need it. This is me and my buddy Max getting ready to run for the ball:

Again, after the ball:

Nothing better than running with the dogs. These two are my new friends here in Chicago:

Back home... with a well deserved rawhide to deal with:

Me, in action:
So anyways, that was our first snow. I'm pretty happy with Lucy's reaction although I can't wait to see how she plays when there is snow up to her chest. I'm sure she'll be loving it a lot more than I will.
I don't know if you guys can really see in this picture, but the hood of my jacket was completely frozen by the time we got home:

Yeah... it sucks... :)
Anyways, gotta go get some homework done, hope all of you guys are having a great week-end.
