It's been a while so I'll do a quick recap of what's been going on the past week.
Last week-end was a whole lot of fun. On Friday I went to Neo, a goth bar in the city. Pretty much the only goth bar in the city. It was a lot of fun. I met Angie that I had been talking to for a while through myspace, and we had a great time getting ready and getting to the club.
The club itself was a lot of fun and I made new friends pretty easily. Not quite as trendy as Los Angeles, and thus easier to get close to people quickly.
Went again this week-end and had a blast. I'm pretty happy to finally have
found a place in Chicago where I can feel comfortable and have fun.
Here's last week's photo:

Then on Sunday I went to Millenium Park to go check out the ice sculpture there, it was a great day. I had a lot of fun even though the ice sculpture was a little disappointing. It was very pretty but I was hoping for a sculpture of a real subject instead of an abstract sculpture.

Right accross from the sculpture was Chicago's Bean. It's really quite a pretty art piece. I didn't know it, but when you step under the bean it goes up all the way almost to the top and is absolutely beautiful:

As I was getting home I was able to catch this little guy perched on a tiny tiny branch. I wish I had a better camera so that the picture would have turned out better though.

This week-end was pretty mellow compared to last one, I've just been home relazing, reading, and making another pair of mittens.
