I know, I know, I haven't written nearly enough in this diary this summer. I've been incredibly busy with all the traveling.

We just got back from a ren faire, and are now headed to California for San Diego Comicon. We're not going to have as much time in California as I had hoped but I should still be able to see everyone who's there for a few days.

Had an amazing time at the ren faire, all complaints of body aches and heat aside, I always have a great time at ren faires. The people are wonderful, I love being able to truly be myself for a while, wearing flouncy skirt, corsets and going barefoot as much as I want.
I don't have pics yet, but will try and post some soon.

I've been working a lot on my art these part few weeks, found out that I had an affinity with making shadow portraits. I love the concept and imagining new faces or things that will look good once done.
Here are a few of the examples that I've done so far:

My dancers and my irish lad, I love them. Made a cutout of the Musicians of Breme Town, which I'm really excited about.
About to make a geisha and a samurai as well... so exciting!

So that's been what I've been working on mostly. Thinking that if I can get in the San Diego Comicon's art show I might be able to make a bit of money towards school and everything so that would be very very exciting.

Oh oh, also thinking about starting a line of clothing when I get home that is steam punk inspired. I can't wait !
