I only have two finals to go and then I'm done with school for this semester.
It is going to be a well needed break.
I'm going to take as much of a rest as I possibly can, and then really start up next semester well so that I don't have to catch up on everything all the time like I did this semester.
I found out though, that I have a pattern of Fall semesters not being my best, so we'll have to work on that.
Last art show was pretty much a bust, although it was fun to meet other artist around the area. Met this one girl Iris, who has absolutely great art. I traded for one of her pieces and am absolutely in love with it. I still have to figure out where it's going to go in the house but I want it somewhere where I can watch it most of the time. It's simply genius. Reminds me a lot of Charles De Lint's books when I look at it, and since Charles De Lint is one of my favorite authors, it's simply brilliant.
So that was awesome.
Talked to a lady who said she was going to recommend me to one of her friends, she owns a toy store and might want to put my plushies up there as well. So that would be absolutely wonderful, but it's very very tenuous. I'm not holding my breath for it at all, but I definitely will be working on making more plushies throughout these next few weeks just in case.
I've started filling my plushies both with beads and stuffing lately, which gives them a much more pliable body, which is something that I actually really like. So I'm going to continue with that and see how people like them.
I made another of my fish monsters, although this time he's a yeti fish monster. I think he's awesome, but this is one of my designs that people enjoy the least.

Other than that, I've been pretty tired and stressed out. My job is not going well, from working 20 hours a week, my boss just with no reason whatsoever cut my hours last week and I just worked 10 hours then, and I still haven't gotten a clear cut schedule this week.
Luckily I've been looking hard for a new job as soon as that happened as I had noticed he was extremely flaky and I was getting worried.
I now have an interview tomorrow for a very part time nanny job for a little boy. I would speak only french to him while we hung out.
And then on Saturday morning I have another meeting with a lady for another little girl with whom I would only speak french. And that would be for Mondays and Fridays.
Both of these together should cover whatever I need for bills and all that, and the jobs should be a lot less stressful than the one I have right now. So I'm really looking forward for all that to work out.
Cross your fingers for me!
